Life Goals for the Roaring Twenties

Updated: May 16, 2019

As I write this, I am just 53 minutes away from officially being in my twenties. As you read this, I am already there! I hope it's brighter on the other side, because I sure have hyped this up a bit.

To celebrate the occasion, instead of focusing on all the things I should have done before I reach the magical two-zero, I've decided to look forward and work out what I want from the roaring twenties. Here are my goals:

1. Get To Know Me

Hello Hannah, nice to meet you. Me, myself and I are long overdue some quality time together and in true oscar-style, I would like to thank me for getting me here this far. Truly, we deserve an award. The twenties are really just one big after party for making it through teenagehood.

2. Meet New People

Bit cliché, but I'd really like to make some more meaningful connections and relationships. I have a couple of really great, close friends, so I'd like to work on growing my inner circle during the next ten years of my life. After that, I guess I'll have to change the name of this blog!

3. Birth Something

Mum, don't freak out. I have no intention of getting pregnant any time soon. But I would like to mother something, be it really important project, a new creation, or a cat... to be fair a cat sounds like the best one to me.

4. Have Enough

Enough money to pay rent, enough friends to feel loved, enough love to feel whole... excuse me while I vomit... okay, back. I never want to feel comfortable, because I'm a firm believer in constantly pushing boundaries and discovering new things. So I'd like, at some stage in the next decade of my life, to feel wholly satisfied, but just enough... gotten keep me on my toes! That's everything for today! What are your ten-year goals and why? Let me know in the comments below and remember to share this post with your fellow humans to ask them the same!

🎶Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me...🎶
